What you can ask
Once connected, Claude can answer questions like these from your Alphie data:
- "Who visited our website yesterday, and what did they look at?"
- "Which companies read our pricing page this week?"
- "Show me every visit from BrightLoop Systems in the last month."
- "Who do we already have on file at BrightLoop, and has anyone there replied to our outreach?"
- "Of the companies that visited today, which ones do we already know people at?"
Claude works out the time range from what you say, in your own time zone, and tells you if it had to guess.
What Claude can see
The connector gives Claude read-only access to three things from your account.
Companies that visited your website. For a time range you choose, the companies Alphie identified, with their description, industry, size, revenue range and location, how many times each visited, and when. Traffic Alphie could not attribute to a company is reported as a count so you know how complete the picture is.
Each visit in detail. Where the visit came from (search, social, a referring site, a campaign and its UTM tags, or direct), the landing page, the device type, how long the visitor was actively engaged, and the pages they read, in order, with time spent on each.
The people you have on file at a company. Three kinds of people appear in one list:
- Visitors who left their details in your chat widget or a form, with their message and lead status.
- People Alphie's contact search found at the company for your email outreach, with job title, work email and LinkedIn profile.
- People Alphie found for your LinkedIn outreach campaigns, with job title and LinkedIn profile.
For each person Claude also sees whether they have unsubscribed and what outreach has already reached them, so it will not suggest a cold email to someone who is mid-sequence or has already replied.
What Claude cannot see or do
- It cannot change anything in Alphie, send outreach, or add people to campaigns. Every tool is read-only.
- It does not see ICP scores, fit ratings or buying stages. Companies are listed by how active they were, not by how well they fit.
- It does not see chat transcripts, only the message a visitor wrote when they left their details.
- It does not see anyone outside your own account. You see the companies and people your Alphie account identified, and nothing else.
- It does not browse LinkedIn or any other website.
Plans
Any Alphie account with an active or trialing subscription can connect, on any plan.
On plans that do not include contact details, the work email and LinkedIn link of people Alphie found are withheld, exactly as in the Alphie dashboard. Claude still sees their name, title and outreach status, and the email appears as a domain-only form such as •••••@brightloopsystems.com. Claude is told the details are withheld by your plan, so it will say so rather than report that no email exists. Details that a visitor typed in themselves are always shown.
Connecting from Claude
Each person connects with their own Alphie login. Colleagues on the same account connect separately.
claude.ai, the Claude desktop and mobile apps
- Open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. If Alphie is listed in the connector directory, you can choose it there instead.
- Enter the server URL:
https://q.meetalphie.com/mcp - Claude sends you to the Alphie sign-in page. Sign in with your Alphie email and password.
- Alphie asks you to confirm that Claude may have read-only access to your workspace. Check that the screen names Claude and shows
claude.aias the destination, then choose Allow. - You are returned to Claude with Alphie connected. Start a chat and ask your first question.
No API key or secret is needed. Claude and Alphie set up the connection between themselves once you have signed in.
Claude Code
Run this once in your terminal, then follow the sign-in prompt in your browser:
claude mcp add --transport http alphie https://q.meetalphie.com/mcpDisconnecting
To stop Claude from reading your account, open the Alphie dashboard, go to Settings, then Connected apps, and remove Claude. The connection stops working immediately. Removing the connector inside Claude also stops it from being used, but the Alphie side is where access is revoked.
If someone leaves your team and is removed from your Alphie account, any connection they made stops working on its own.
Privacy and data
When you ask Claude a question, Claude receives the data needed to answer it: company details, visit details and, if you ask about people, their names, titles, work emails, LinkedIn profiles and, for visitors who typed them in, phone numbers and messages. That data is covered by your Alphie plan and by Anthropic's terms for the Claude product you use. Alphie does not send any data to Claude on its own; it only answers questions you ask.
Alphie's full privacy policy is at meetalphie.com/privacy.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't reach the server" when connecting. Check that the URL is exactly https://q.meetalphie.com/mcp, including the final /mcp.
Claude asks me to reconnect. Your connection was revoked in Alphie, or the person who connected it no longer belongs to the account. Connect again from Settings, then Connectors.
Claude says the subscription is not active. The account owner's Alphie subscription has lapsed. Once it is active again, the connector works without reconnecting.
Claude says contact details are withheld. Your plan does not include contact details. See Plans above.
The numbers do not match the dashboard. Check the time range. Claude uses your local day; the dashboard shows the range you selected there. Both exclude bot and ISP traffic in the same way, so for the same range the company list and visit counts match.
