The Role
We're looking for an exceptional engineer who doesn't just write code, but leverages AI as a superpower to achieve 10x productivity. This isn't about replacing human creativity - it's about amplifying it through intelligent tooling.
You'll be building core features for our scheduling AI while using cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development, debug faster, and ship higher-quality code than traditional approaches allow.
What You'll Do
Core Engineering
- • Build and scale our AI scheduling engine that handles complex multi-party coordination
- • Develop integrations with Gmail, Slack, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms
- • Create intelligent algorithms that learn user preferences and optimize meeting scheduling
- • Build robust APIs and microservices handling thousands of scheduling requests
AI-Amplified Development
- • Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Dev, etc.) to accelerate feature development
- • Leverage AI for code review, debugging, and optimization
- • Employ AI tools for testing, documentation, and technical specification writing
- • Experiment with emerging AI development tools and integrate the best into our workflow
Product Impact
- • Ship features that directly improve user experience and save hours per week
- • Collaborate with founders on product strategy and technical architecture
- • Own end-to-end delivery from concept to production
- • Participate in user research and iterate based on real feedback
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- • 3-5+ years of software engineering experience with proven ability to ship production code
- • Strong foundation in modern web technologies (React, Node.js, Python, or similar)
- • Database experience with both SQL and NoSQL systems
- • API development and integration experience
- • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
AI-Powered Mindset
- • Enthusiasm for AI tooling - you actively use AI assistants in your current workflow
- • Rapid learning ability - comfortable with constantly evolving AI tools and techniques
- • Efficiency obsession - you're always looking for ways to work smarter, not just harder
- • Quality focus - AI helps you move fast, but you never compromise on code quality
Bonus Points
- • Experience with LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- • Calendar and email API integration experience
- • Natural language processing or conversational AI projects
- • Early-stage startup experience
- • Open source contributions or side projects showcasing AI-enhanced development
