AI-Powered Engineer
Build the future of real-time lead engagement
The Role
We're looking for an exceptional engineer who doesn't just write code — but builds systems that think. You'll design, scale, and optimize Alphie's AI-driven GTM engine that identifies, enriches, and routes leads in real time.
This role blends high-velocity product work with deep AI tooling. You'll use the latest LLM and agentic frameworks to automate and accelerate core workflows — both for our users and within our own development process.
What You'll Do
Core Engineering
- • Build and scale Alphie's real-time lead qualification and enrichment engine
- • Integrate with major APIs (LinkedIn, HubSpot, Slack, Salesforce, Clearbit, etc.)
- • Design microservices that process thousands of inbound events per second
- • Create intelligent routing and scoring algorithms that adapt to each GTM team's ICP
- • Optimize for speed — latency is our enemy
AI-Amplified Development
- • Use AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Dev, etc.) for daily development
- • Automate code reviews, QA, and documentation
- • Experiment with agentic patterns for self-healing pipelines and enrichment logic
- • Contribute to our internal library of AI tools for engineering efficiency
Product Impact
- • Ship features that transform how startups engage customers in real time
- • Work directly with founders to shape product architecture and technical direction
- • Own your features from prototype to production
- • Collaborate closely with design and GTM teams to turn ideas into shipped code
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- • 3–5+ years of production-level engineering experience
- • Strong foundation in modern backend and frontend technologies (Node.js, Python, React, TypeScript)
- • API and event-driven architecture experience
- • Database fluency (Postgres, Redis, or similar)
- • Cloud deployment (AWS or GCP) and containerization
AI-First Mindset
- • You actively use AI tools in your workflow today
- • You iterate quickly, automate everything you can, and value speed with precision
- • You think in systems, not scripts — designing for adaptability and autonomy
- • You're excited to push what's possible with AI in real-world products
Bonus Points
- • Experience with enrichment APIs or GTM data (Clearbit, People Data Labs, Apollo, etc.)
- • Experience with lead scoring, routing, or CRM integrations
- • Contributions to open source AI tooling or LLM agents
- • Early-stage startup experience
- • Side projects showcasing AI-enhanced workflows
