Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.

By accessing or using Alphie's website, app, or related integrations (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information that identifies you directly or indirectly ("Personal Data"), such as:

  • Contact information: name, email address, company name, and role when you sign up, join the waitlist, or contact support.
  • Account data: credentials, workspace membership, and communication preferences.
  • Support communications: messages or attachments you send to our support team.

B. Authentication via Google OAuth

When you sign up or log in using your Google account, Alphie uses Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol to authenticate securely. This provides limited access to your Google identity (name, profile image, and email address) — and no access to your Gmail inbox, calendar, or files.

Key points:

  • Alphie never sees or stores your Google password.
  • You can revoke Alphie's access anytime through your Google Account permissions.
  • Authentication tokens are encrypted, short-lived, and used solely to verify identity.

This integration ensures secure, frictionless login while keeping your Google account fully protected.

C. Information Collected Automatically

When you use Alphie, we automatically collect certain technical and usage data:

  • Usage data: pages visited, actions taken, feature usage within the app.
  • Device and session data: browser type, IP address, operating system, session duration.
  • Cookies: used for authentication, analytics, and product improvements. You can control cookie preferences in your browser.

D. Lead and Enrichment Data

Alphie processes lead and company data on behalf of customers to enable real-time qualification and enrichment. This may include:

  • Visitor-submitted data: form fields such as name, email, company, or message.
  • Publicly available data: LinkedIn profile, company funding, industry, or technology stack, gathered from third-party enrichment APIs.
  • Behavioral data: referrer URLs, UTM parameters, and website actions before form submission.

This data is used solely to help customers qualify and engage legitimate business leads.

2. How We Use Information

We use data to:

  • Deliver and improve Alphie's real-time qualification, enrichment, and routing services.
  • Filter and prevent spam or bot activity.
  • Notify teams of verified leads via Slack or CRM integrations.
  • Provide support, fix issues, and improve the user experience.
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns for product improvement.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Alphie does not use your data for advertising or model training.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We only share information as follows:

  • With your consent: when you connect integrations such as Slack or HubSpot.
  • With service providers: trusted vendors who assist in hosting, enrichment, and analytics (under strict data processing agreements).
  • For legal reasons: if required by law, regulation, or valid legal request.

All third parties are bound by confidentiality and security standards consistent with this Policy.

4. Data Security

We use enterprise-grade security controls to safeguard your data:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS / TLS 1.2+)
  • Token-based authentication (OAuth 2.0)
  • Role-based access control and audit logs
  • Regular penetration testing and security audits
  • Limited data access for employees and systems

Alphie's systems are built on secure cloud infrastructure aligned with SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and CCPA standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to operate the Service:

  • Lead and enrichment data are processed in real time and automatically deleted within 30 days.
  • Authentication and account data are retained while your account is active.
  • Metadata logs may be retained longer for security monitoring and abuse detection.

You may request deletion of your account or associated data at any time by emailing support@meetalphie.com.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access or request a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw consent or disconnect integrations.
  • Request data portability.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of data processing.

We respond to verified data requests within 30 days.

7. AI and Data Processing

Alphie uses AI systems to process and enrich business data in real time.

  • All enrichment data originates from public or authorized enterprise sources.
  • Alphie and its AI providers (including OpenAI and Anthropic) do not use customer data for model training.
  • All AI processing is performed securely within the scope of providing Alphie's Service.

8. International Data Transfers

Data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our cloud service providers operate. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent safeguards to ensure lawful international transfers.
