Your Privacy Choices

Your Privacy Choices

California residents and others have rights related to their personal information, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Learn about these rights and how to exercise them below.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Under California law, you have the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Alphie collects certain personal information from visitors to websites where our technology is deployed, including IP addresses, device information, and—where available—professional identifiers and employment data. While Alphie itself does not sell personal information in the traditional sense, some uses of your data may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You have the right to request that we do not sell or share your information for such purposes.

Limit Use and Disclosure of My Sensitive Personal Information

You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information. Sensitive information includes social security numbers, financial account information, precise location data, and other categories defined by law. Alphie limits the use of any sensitive information we collect to purposes necessary to provide our service, comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent. For more details about what information we collect and how we use it, please see our Privacy Policy.

Right to Know

You have the right to request the following information about personal data we have collected:

  • The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you
  • The sources of that information
  • The business purposes for collecting the information
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share the information

Right to Delete

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you. This includes information we collect directly from you as well as information we receive from third parties. We may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or legal obligations. We will respond to deletion requests within 45 days.

Right to Correct

You have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. When you make a correction request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the information.

Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision Making

Under CPRA, you have the right to opt-out of automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Alphie does not engage in automated decision-making in this sense. However, if you have concerns about any automated processing of your information, please contact us as described below.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or device supports the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Alphie will treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request unless you have acknowledged the GPC signal and explicitly agreed to Alphie's collection or use of your information. GPC is a mechanism for signaling your preference not to have your personal information sold or shared. You can learn more about GPC and download a browser plug-in at globalprivacycontrol.org.

We will respond to verified requests within 45 days, though we may take up to 90 days to do so. We do not charge a fee to respond to your request unless your requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will explain why.

Authorized Agents

You may authorize an agent to submit requests on your behalf. We will require verification of the agent's authority, which may include a valid power of attorney or other legal documentation. Please have your agent contact us with documentation of authorization.
